Mr. Karroubi, one of the candidates in the June 12 presidential election, which the opposition continues to insist was rigged, made his call for a meeting in a letter to Ali Larijani, the speaker of Iran’s Parliament. He also published the letter online (in Persian).

According to a Reuters translation, Mr. Karroubi asked Mr. Larijani to organize a meeting with Mr. Ahmadinejad and other senior figures, including Mr. Larijani’s brother, Ayatollah Sadeq Larijani, who is the new head of Iran’s judiciary, and Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, a former president who leads a powerful clerical body and has supported the opposition. I have published the news according to the rules of the site administrator ..Have you heard of something called "Freedom".  I am sure SOME of us "Iranians" have a long way to understand the key elements of freedom and respect without throwing few sweet words in between our words.  I call my "Smart title" however I want. The beauty of "Freedom" is you don't have to read my articles.

Do you still wonder why we have people like Ahmadi Nejad governing us.....

BTW, the "Blogs" section of this site is to share my ideas not others, or specifically the news.  Thanks for you advise and name calling...

If you want to post news items, please follow a couple of simple rules in order to maintain the integrity of the news item and show your sincerity in sharing the information.

The "Smart title" section is exactly that. You can show how "smart" you are by coming up with you own take on the item. In this case, "Islamic way" is what you wanted the reader to know what YOU think about the subject.

But inserting nonsense like, "We the people of Islam", which shows you are just another run off the mill two bit bigot, should not replace NYT's title to the piece.

BTW, the "Blogs" section of this site is the proper place to share your ideas no matter how bigoted you are.
