One of, if not, the most respected journalist. He has lived in ME for many years and know the area and people really well. It is really too bad for folks in power do not listen to him as much as they should, but then I know that they have no intention to bring peace and justice to ME, only to oppress them to their benefit

I trust Robert Fisk and his analysis of the middle east more than most. He's explaining it real well in this interview: the roots of all the problems in the middle east are not the people, nor the religion but the western powers' foreign policies at work.
