Reporting from The United Nations - In a sweeping call for international cooperation, President Obama this morning challenged world leaders to set aside "an almost reflexive anti-Americanism" and work together with him and other nations on common goals such as nuclear disarmament, climate change and Middle East peace.
An anti-American sentiment has served as an "excuse for our collective inaction," Obama told members of the United Nations General Assembly, at a time when collaboration is more important than at any time in history.

Bavafa, The only actual
by Farhad Kashani on Thu Sep 24, 2009 03:17 PM PDTBavafa,
The only actual “rape” that’s happening in the ME is the rape of Basijis of Iranian women, and men, for asking for their basic undeniable rights, in the last 30 years.
Anti Americanism, to your huge disappointment, is fading away. Read the surveys. The world is realizing day by day what a great force of good this country has been, is and will always be.
It is not easy to un-do the eight-year f*&k up of GWB
by Bavafa on Wed Sep 23, 2009 06:12 PM PDTAnd you can't ask people to forget the rape and distruction that the US has brought upon the ME in the past 8 years. Hope he will try his best to mend fences with the people of the world.
