ran's crime is its independence. Having thrown out America's favourite tyrant, Shah Reza Pahlavi, Iran remains the only resource-rich Muslim state beyond US control. As only Israel has a "right to exist" in the Middle East, the US goal is to cripple the Islamic Republic. This will allow Israel to divide and dominate the Middle East on Washington's behalf, undeterred by a confident neighbour. If any country in the world has been handed urgent cause to develop a nuclear "deterrence", it is Iran.
As one of the original signatories of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, Iran has been a consistent advocate of a nuclear-free zone in the Middle East. In contrast, Israel has never agreed to an IAEA inspection, and its nuclear weapons plant at Dimona remains an open secret. Armed with as many as 200 active nuclear warheads, Israel "deplores" UN resolutions calling on it to sign the NPT, just as it deplored the recent UN report charging it with crimes against humanity in Gaza, just as it maintains a world record for violations of international law. It gets away with this because great power grants it immunity.

Cost of Progress
by anonymous111.2 on Thu Oct 01, 2009 09:58 AM PDTYou are right in saying:
"All of you assigned to monitor the internet and post crap like you do - How's the pay, by the way?"
Now, even though this idiot Gholam constantly accuses me of being an sraeli agent, I am not going to accuse him of being an IRI agent, because unlike him, I do not slander people without having my facts straight. But the IRI does have a huge internet propaganda operation that monitors sites and spread misinformation and propaganda. Here's an article abuot it:
//news.political-articles.net/Group/iran/2009/September/ir00834.htm
There are quite a few on this site that I suspect to be a part of that operation, but, again, I will not mention any usernames.
So, It was all a lie ghollam?
by Cost-of-Progress on Thu Oct 01, 2009 09:48 AM PDTGhollam.....was it all a big fat lie? There were nobody in the streets demonstrating? Didn't IRI goons kill, maim, rape and beat the shit out of a lot of innocent people? Are all those killed walking the streets? .....Such lies they told us. I did not know man.......Glad you enlightened us.
You should be ashamed of yourself. All of you assigned to monitor the internet and post crap like you do - How's the pay, by the way?
Thanks for the post
by Shah Ghollam on Thu Oct 01, 2009 09:15 AM PDTbut watch out for imposters such as payam and kashani to come and talk about Iranian demonstrations and rape and torture!
Back to article, the following is so true:
