The head of the UN nuclear watchdog has said relations with Iran are shifting from confrontation to co-operation. Mohamed ElBaradei, who is visiting Tehran, said this was a "critical moment" and urged Iran to be as transparent as possible.
The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency also announced inspectors would visit Tehran's newly revealed uranium enrichment plant on 25 October.
Iran denies concerns it is developing a nuclear weapons capability. The US had urged the Iranian government to give the IAEA "unfettered access" within two weeks to the site disclosed last month. The uranium enrichment facility is located near the city of Qom.

by Bijan A M on Mon Oct 05, 2009 03:07 AM PDTThanks for your comment. If, being proud of my Iranian culture and heritage makes me a nationalist, then I am one. And, no I don’t advocate any form of military attack on Iran. Not because I have family and relatives there but because it is wrong. It will not lead to an Iran free of IRI (IMHO). However, I believe those courageous souls who put their lives at risk to confront IRI deserve every support in any form that it may come to accomplish their goal. To sit here and defend IRI just because we are Iranian (regardless of our rational and reasoning) is betraying those who shout “death to dictator” in Iran. That’s my entire point.
By-the-way, you never answered my questions in your other news post. So, I repeat it here, maybe I have better luck this time:
“would you please define for an uneducated person like me what is meant by Zionism? Who is a Zionist? Is there such a thing as a “good” Zionist? And one more question: do you believe in a two state solution?”

If you are a nationalist, then it won't be difficult to connect the dots between Zinists, Neu-cons, Bush and so on the well being of Iran. Ahmadinejad's government is not even a blimp on Iranian history. Expand your horizon and see the big picture on Iran, because if people don't the same entities that you so don't in your blind spot may Nuke Iran to anhilation. But since you live here, who are you to care, right?

After all you are the wise one, you are the oosta.

I don’t know what your motives and drivers are on this site. I don’t know you, but based on almost every post you have on this site, you are at best a nationalist full of hatred for whatever the west stands for, good or bad. Even if you are against the rule of IRI, you are willing to give your life for anything that is said against IRI.
As I posted in another post the problem is equating IRI as being Iranian where there is absolutely nothing Iranian about IRI. So, please stop insinuating and insulting any patriot Iranian who honestly criticizes and shows distrust for IRI. Lack of trust for whatever IRI does or says is entirely understandable, legitimate and defendable, regardless of what the west has done and continues to do.
Zionism, Israel, Bush, Neo-con,… has nothing to do with this distrust. We don’t have to stand up for IRI out of our pride to be Iranian. This “lakkehe nang” (soil of shame) should be washed off of our brilliant culture and proud heritage. Be an Iranian, don’t defend IRI? Please…
JJ what part of "cooperation" don't you understand?
by Ostaad on Sun Oct 04, 2009 11:39 AM PDTYour "smart remark"
reminds me of that Iranian masal that says, "shah bakhsheed vali shahgholi nabakhsheed". The US and IAEA have publicly announced they are pleased with Iran's cooperation regarding Iran's perfectly legal nuclear program.
If you have any doubts, I suggest that you read more credible sources. Please let me know if you need any assistance. I'll be happy to help anyway I can.
