Hamas drafts responses to its accusations in Goldstone report

 GAZA, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- Islamic Hamas movement started preparing "legal responses" to its accusations in a UN fact-finding mission's report about Israel's last winter war in the Gaza Strip, officials said on Thursday.

    The report by South African Justice Richard Goldstone "was not built on true information regarding Hamas" which controls Gaza, said Mushier al-Massri, a Hamas lawmaker.

    The 575-page report accused Israel of committing war crimes during its December 27 to January 18 war and also said that Hamas' rocket attacks on southern Israel communities violated laws of war.

    Al-Massri told Xinhua that a team of legal experts and other leaders from Hamas is working "to present clarifications to Goldstone's committee because its members have not had complete information."

    Mahmoud Zahar, a senior Hamas leader and a member of the legal committee, told reporters that "the committee "will send its answers to the judge Goldstone as soon as they are ready."

    "The committee will put evidences that prove the opposite to Hamas' and the resistance factions' accusations," Zahar said.

    He added that the Hamas experts "will base their evidences on other international reports by rights groups, such Human Rights Watch (HRW) which denied that Hamas militants have used civilians as human shields."

I already expressed my opinion about Palestinian issue and if there is an urge to defend Arabs from being killed (mostly by Arabs btw) I hope there is an Arabian.com somewhere to go there.

But here, you are making of Israel an enemy of Iranian people, and this is a deliberate falsehood I suspect.

The one and only hope WAS that Mr. Obama to link any future negociation pre conditioned on human rights issue in Iran. But seemingly they had other agenda than truly supporting the cause of Iranian people.

Actually this is precisely what is right with my perspective. I do not see Israeli rulers any different from IR rulers. Both represent a theological form of government which state sponsored terrorism and apartheid has become a norm. The only difference is that they are of different faith.

You can not stand and tell me the Jewish faith condones all the atrocities that Zionist government commits under the name of Judaism, nor can you tell me that Muslim faith condones the atrocities of IR. [But I think you just did say that] regretfully.

IR does it to their own people and Israel does to others. Unless you want to tell me the Arab life means nothing in your book. Self defense does not cut it my good man.

Agreed but how do you go after one without going after the other? It's easy to go after Isreal,Going after Hamas is hard.It's interesting in the light of all this,they are reacting now.Even tho it is in defense.I wonder if they would abide any dicispline tho.My guess is they would acknowledge it maybe show some shame lol.slap their hands.....As for the IRI, no shame there

This is what is wrong with your perspective captain. Putting 'Israel', a country, a nation and a democratic one for that matter, in the same basked as the two others. Israeli nation would have elected a peace loving government if she wanted and if she wasn't feeling threatened. Can you say the same thing about IRI and Hamas? From here, all your conclusions become tainted with inconsistency.

What are you mumbling about? What’s related? Since you still live in the cold war era 1950s and are consumed by 1960s Communist propaganda, let me tell you what’s going on in 2009. In the age of globalization and one global village, all issues are related to one another, but not like the way IRI and you acting as its propaganda agent, portray it to be. All these 30 years when IRI was engaged in massacring our people, no one cared, or knew, except the Iranian people. But on June 12th, people from all around the world outstandingly supported Iranian people’s uprising against your beloved IRI regime.

I do not ever recall people in 80 different cities around the world marching to support Israel or Palestine, or bash Israel or Palestine, but they did that supporting the Iranian people. Because unlike you, they know IRI is the mole, and IRI through its rhetoric and terrorist goons in the Middle East, will not let peace happen between Israel and Palestine.
