Baasheh.... ;-)
And my statement is hardly flawed: All it claims, is that "historically, the self-proclaimed followers of Satan, have committed far
less atrocities than the self-proclaimed followers of God ever did".
Nothing more is claimed here, and no conclusion has been driven from this premise by me. I still stand by my statement.
Mr. P:.
by Shifteh Ansari on Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:50 PM PDTI think most Iranians inside Iran would be happy if the limited and flawed freedoms the current Islamic Republic of Iran's Constitution has promised are ensured. The Iranian Constitution, in its original format, provides for freedom of speech and freedom of peaceful congregation; it speaks against the government's intervention in freedom of press, and speaks against intervention of military in politics. Iran is so far from democracy, devil worshippers will have to take a number and go all the way to the back behind Iranian women, non-shia muslims, non-muslims, and people of conscience with a different point of view.
To answer your other question, that statement is a bit flawed. "Historically, the self-proclaimed followers of Satan, have committed far less atrocities than the self-proclaimed followers of God ever did, haven't they?"
Devil worshippers have not had a chance to rule countries with millions of people to show whether they commit less or more atrocities. One thing is certain, we have had ample sampling and documentation of how Islamic states and states with Sharia law might treat their people. Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Islamic Republic of Iran, and the Taliban have shown us how their ideology treats people, turning the very state which is in charge of their safety and security against them, imprisoning, torturing, stoning, hanging, persecuting, and murdering them.

by Ali P. on Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:33 PM PDTThe question is posed, as a litmus test, to those who wish for, and propose, an Islamic democracy in Iran, if and when, that ever happens.
Yours,
Ali P.
P.S. Historically, the self-proclaimed followers of Satan, have committed far less atrocities than the self-proclaimed followers of God ever did, haven't they?
Mr. P.
by Shifteh Ansari on Mon Oct 26, 2009 10:16 PM PDTThere is nothing Islamic nor democratic about what is happening in Iran. A totally facsist government is in operation there. Like I said, I doubt these people have actually done "devil worshipping." I think they are musicians or pot heads (or activists or journalists) who are being framed and made an example of for the others.
"Islamic Democracy"
by Ali P. on Mon Oct 26, 2009 09:57 PM PDTWould this be accepted in an "Islamic Democracy"?
A "Democracy" would say, " what do I care, go for it!"
An Islamic state would not allow it, would it?
Persecution of musicians
by Shifteh Ansari on Mon Oct 26, 2009 09:44 PM PDTMost likely they are just musicians. They are making up these charges to set a good example of them for other underground music bands.
Everyone is used to their lies by now, but the disturbing thing is that when they randomly call people devil worshippers, they make these folks into "mohareb's" and that crime is punishable by death.
Execution for playing music, that's where I think this is going.
