پس از سرکوب شدید عاشورای 88، چند تن از رهبران جنبش سبز که بیرون از ایران زندگی می کنند، به نمایندگی از رهبران جنبش، خواستار افزایش فشار از سوی مردم به حاکمیت و اعمالی مانند اعتصابات گسترده و فشار به حکومت تا سقوط آن شدند، دو روز بعد، بیانیه میرحسین موسوی خواستهای پنجگانه وی را برای خروج از بن بست پیشنهاد کرد. میرحسین موسوی در حالی این بیانیه را منتشر کرد که سه تن از اصلی ترین یارانش دستگیر شده، خواهرزاده اش کشته شده بود و خود دائما به دستگیری و حتی اعدام تهدید می شد و می شود. مقایسه این دو شیوه برخورد نشان می دهد که:

اول، دو دیدگاه در جنبش وجود دارد، برخی برآنند که باید جنبش را رادیکالیزه کرد و تا سرحد سقوط حکومت پیش رفت و به سقوط حکومت به عنوان دستاورد جنبش برای تغییر نگاه کرد، اما برخی دیگر، از جمله میرحسین موسوی معتقدند که باید هزینه پرداخت شده توسط جنبش اجتماعی به یک نتیجه مشهود تبدیل شود و پس از وادار کردن حکومت به ... >>>

If the five points Mousavi has demanded are granted ( big if ) , it is a massive gain for our oppresed nation.

All or nothing approach can be very destructive.This movement should stay non-violent.

cutting sepah's powers ( if possible ) , making goevrnment accountable to the parliment , freedom of press and political parties

The fact that he is demanding these basic rigths at tis stage , shows his commitment and also a great deal of pragmatism.

I believe that issues such as Velayat, Shah, Rahbar, etc. become irrelevant if the will of people is put in front of the system.

The point here is that the demands are such, be it this system or not
we are not for defining a revolution or a system (as 1979) but for
these Rights and demands we stand united. In this way, if the system fails to provide
the demanded rights, next system should. 

Demands and goals are the core objective not systems and names.

What about Velayat e Faghih!

I have difficulty to understand Mr. Mosavi's motivation.  Is he demanding these 5 changes from regime with velayat e faghih's existance & other thugs in the regime?
