Non-governmental organizations must be allowed to "carry out their
missions in the Palestinian territories," French Foreign Ministry's
Spokesman Bernard Valero said on Thursday. Balero was speaking to the
issue of limitations on work visas that have been imposed by Israel on
foreign NGOs

"Israeli authorities have refused to grant work visas to
foreign personnel from a number of NGOs since the end of last year. The
situation is under discussion with the Israeli authorities and will
hopefully be rectified" said Valero.
