Since his release Maziar Bahari has been working with free speech charities to promote their causes. The new drive is named 'Our Society Will Be A Free Society'

Six Pillars to Persia, an English language radio show on Iranian arts and culture and modern Persian heritage, co-hosted a radio show on Resonance 104.4FM to highlight
the plight of Maziar when he was still in solitary confinement in Evin prison. Following on from that, in November 2009, we put on an event in London to raise awareness of other human rights issues in Iran and to raise money for Amnesty's work. We also collected signatures for Amnesty's Million Signatures Campaign for Women's Rights in Iran. It was an extremely warm and open hearted event, Amnesty is neither non-governmental nor anti-Islam, it is simply pro-human rights.
Now on February 25th 2010, we're hosting another event in the same venue, with an all-Iranian line up. Some very experimental musicians will be aplying for Iranian audiences for the first time, award winning musicians, some with many releases... >>>
