Too bright to be heard?
by Sen McGlinn on Tue Feb 16, 2010 02:43 AM PSTWayne Madison has entirely missed the point. Secretary Clinton is not outraged that the Iranian government is becoming a military dictatorship. She is observing that power is shifting to the military (which is true), so pressure to get "Iran" to change its mind will need to be directed to the new centres of power. That's an intelligent observation: it went over the heads of Madison and the interviewer.
