On Tuesday, the Iranians regime boasted that Abdolmalek Rigi, the Sunni Baluchi leader was arrested by members of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) in an extraordinary operation outside Iran. Al Jazeera TV however reports that contrary to claims made by Tehran, Pakistani authorities who had arrested Rigi in Pakistan, handed Rigi over to Iranian authorities already one week ago.
Rigi’s group, Jundollah, in a statement issued yesterday called the Iranian regime and it's Ministry of Intelligence and Security "too pathetic and worthless to be able to pull of such an operation".
Tehran’s regime however vehemently denies Pakistan’s role in Rigi’s arrest.
It is important to mention that this is not the first time that the government of Pakistan has acted as an operative of the Iranian regime in attacking Iranians opposing the Iranian regime and who they claim to be criminals . The government of Pakistan is known to have arrested many Iranians and after torturing them, has delivered them to Iranian officials for imprisonment and often, execution.
