Baku – APA. Iranians marked a holiday that leads up to the Persian new year under the watchful eyes of police Tuesday night after the Islamic republic’s supreme leader tried to discourage the celebrations, APA reports quoting CNN.
Thousands of people turned out, some in groups as large as 400 people, to dance, listen to music and light bonfires in side streets around Tehran on the festival of Chaharshanbe Soori. But unlike other holidays in recent months, there was no immediate sign that the observance was becoming a platform for protests against the country’s leadership.
Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the country’s supreme leader, had urged Iranians to ignore Chaharshanbe Soori, an ancient festival held on the eve of the last Wednesday before spring. It dates back thousands of years and leads up to Norooz, the holiday that begins with the first day of spring and the Persian new year, which falls on Saturday this year. In a statement published by Iranian news sites, Khamenei said the festivities have no basis in Islam, and can cause "harm and corruption."
"It is appropriate to avoid it," he said.
Iran has been wracked by anti-government demonstrations since the disputed June 12 presidential vote that resulted in the re-election of hardline President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The government has beefed up security to ensure "order and calm" during the two-week period celebrating Norooz, stationing 200,000 security personnel across the country, accord... >>>

Take your Satanic Military Forum and your joojeh marketing hezbolahi/ basijis on line and move to Gaza Strip permanently please...These little on line agents of yours have been working too hard on line these past NINE months! They are very tired and need a little vacation ! One way vacation before seriously getting hit on the head by "IDF" and evaporate permanently!
Thank you and Happy Spring in South Lebanon, Gaza strip, Ramallah, where ever you come from!!!!
excellent Fair

As you said, the government thugs in Iran prevent people from expressing themselves. But, I also have a challenge for him. Come out and demonstrate on the streets of the US for his thug-o-mania leaders. While the US government will look at him as an aberration and ignore him, the people here will serve him what he deserves; Sort of reversal of the roles, is it not?

Of course, what else does one expect from a stateless terrorist like you. For now, the people of Iran have given you stateless terrorist and your stateless leader whose rear you kiss so enthusiastically a HUGE FINGER and big BILAKH such that your so called leader had to say GOH KHORDAM on all of your behalf. What a loser, and more loser than him is his stupid supporters like you.

Go back to Iran
In fact I am going for spring vacation! Eat your heart out! I will, however, think of you while visiting Kish Zoo! :)
You are not fooling anyone here

half men thugs like you with no stomach have ony one thing to offer and that is a big mouth. Anything else is in dire short supply whether it is for your family or Iran and Iranians.
Put your money where your mouth is and do what you ask of others. Show up on Tehran streets and spew what you spew here so bravely here. Take the challenge if you are a man!

May be you should look up the meaning for crying! Between your gang and me, it is you all that are crying day in and out here at IC about IRI this and IRI that.

Likewise
by IranMilitaryForum.net on Wed Mar 17, 2010 08:36 PM PDTI should have said "I am fed up with Hizbolahi Basiji" thugs who have
taken residence in Lebanon.
Likewise, I am fed up with thugs as fake Iranians who take refuge in the West but cowardly seek blood from their comfortable armchairs on the streets of Tehran just to quench their hatred for a regime, whatever that may be!
VPK, you and your ilks don't have to search elsewhere to blame. Just look into the mirror and find the coward thugs decorated with college degrees with perhaps polished sophisticated looks who claaim to be Iranians.
The "hezbollahi baseejis" may be imperfect, however, they have more guts than some of the posters here because they personally get engaged in whatever they believe in and not like the coward armchair thugs here who sit in a distance in the comfortable West and demand others to shed blood and perhaps their lives.
A suggestion: If anyone of you truly believes in the garbage you spew here, you are then required to get your sorry %$s to Iran and face it like you wish others to do it for you! Anyone with guts among you?
I stand corrected

Bah bah Fair jan,
by Mardom Mazloom on Wed Mar 17, 2010 10:01 AM PDTSatanic Regime Occupying Iran (SROI) is the best name I've ever heard for this regime.
I'd always thought that IRI rulers are the descendant of beasts from Hell and I've also, sometimes, called Ayatol-Sheytans the satanic guys with an turban over their heads.
We should all use the acronym SROI to refer to this regime till the freedom of Iran by people.
a vocal minority indeed
by Fair on Wed Mar 17, 2010 09:43 AM PDTwhat this fake pathetic mercenary major doesn't realize is that indeed,
what happened in Chahrshinbeh-Suri came from a vocal minority of
discontent which will fade soon.
And this vocal minority is the junta which is in power, with its basiji thugs and brown shirt death squads and rapists, as correctly named earlier on this thread, the SATANIC REGIME OCCUPYING IRAN (SROI).
And it will fade soon. Its head today has said a HUGE "GOH KHORDAM" and has withdrawn his anti Iranian fatwa, as he and his traitor mercenaries like waffen SS major received a HUGE slap in the face from the Iranian people yesterday.
Those who deny this do not know the people of Iran.

Waffen SS Major defends rapists again
by Fair on Wed Mar 17, 2010 09:30 AM PDTPut a lid on it major, you are pathetic.
People all around Iran gave you and your anti Iranian terrorist leader a HUGE finger, and you and him both shut up completely about it yesterday as you damn well should have. It was to the point where the Islamic Fuehrer said a big "GOH KHORDAM" and took away his anti Iranian fatwa.
If this is such a small minority, why is there a complete ban on reporting, and why were foreign reporters not allowed to see the festiviites for themselves?
Of course it is not your fault. From your statements it is clear you are not Iranian, and have a long way to go before you will ever understand the Iranian people. What else can one expect from you, a stateless terrorist that defends rape and murder of innocent Iranians.
