Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's wild-eyed rantings make most people cringe, but comedians say they're great for punchlines.

The Iranian president is expected to come to New York to attend a UN conference on nuclear weapons that begins Monday. In tow will be his firebrand rhetoric that makes the despot a standup staple.

"Ahmadinejad is like the George Bush of Iran," comedian Maz Jobrani, 38, said. "It was good for the world when he left, but bad for comedy. Ahmadinejad isn't good for the world right now, but he's great for comedy."
