MacFarquhar reports, on Monday morning diplomats from several
countries, including the United States and many members of the European
Union, walked out of a United Nations conference on halting the
spread of nuclear weapons during an address by Iran’s president,
Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. The Associated Press posted this video on YouTube
showing the U.S. delegation leaving the General Assembly in New York as
Mr. Ahmadinejad attacked American policy and complained about Israel’s
nuclear arsenal.
