According to Hammihan, Behzad Arab Gol spent for months in prison before being released. The Iran-Iraq war veteran was set free on bail on Wednesday 7 July. During his imprisonment, he was denied any form of medical treatment despite the fact that he continues to suffer from war-time wounds. During the war and from the young age of seventeen, Arab Gol was present in war fronts defending Iran against the Iraqi invaders in the 80s.
