(July 16) -- U.S. officials today stepped up their propaganda war with Iran over nuclear scientist Shahram Amiri, who they say willingly defected to the U.S. last year only to return to Tehran on Thursday.
Intelligence insiders told The New York Times that Amiri was on the CIA payroll several years before his disappearance in the summer of 2009, and supplied more than enough information to justify his $5 million paycheck.

Amiri and CIA look like a bad divorce......at this stage, they don't need each other anymore......so both sides are launching mudslinging campaigns.
