My vote goes to Khaju

Have always loved old bridges.

Another bridge that could speak volumes, the Old bridge of Mostar, Bosnia.

Built in the 16th century, it gave its name to the town, "most" meaning bridge, hence the town of Mostar. It stood as a proud symbol of the cultural diversity and coexistence of 3 peoples until it was destroyed in 1993, during the war in the ex-Yugoslava. It was reconstructed and reopened in 2004.

Here is an old photo. //i16.servimg.com/u/f16/11/30/57/61/mostar10....

And here after the reconstruction. //en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Stari_Most_Septe...

Let's keep the old bridges for they teach peace and history !

PS. Ari, like much better the bridges in the second ranking. And the 2 photos of Khaju do it more justice, indeed.

Sadly the Huffington Post photo does not do the Khajou bridge justice. It is best seen along with its reflection in the water. Here's a better photo ranking where the bridge is listed among the top 10 most beautiful in the world.

of course, i am not surprised. what is missing here is the bridge connecting france to spain over gibralter! There are many steel suspenion bridges and reinforced concrete bridges that should have been here! Cannot vote on this one. That said Khaju is a beaitiful bridge.

I voted the Esfahan bridge #1, Korean bridge #2, the Chinese Bridge #3, the San Diego bridge (Coronado) #4, the Singaporean bridge #5.....

Coronado bridge is the only one I have visited so far!
