WASHINGTON – The chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff says the U.S. military has a plan to attack Iran, although he thinks a strike is probably a bad idea.

Hi! Benross,

    I hope there is no war......last time they talked about war was during US presidential election......theoretically speaking, US can't afford another war.....US is broke......but it still makes me nervous when military brass talks about strike plan like that.......I was hoping there is a direct flight between LA to Tehran and let people visit Iran more easily....I guess we won't have the direct flight in the near future..... hopefully the hostile rhetoric will cool off!

US military has a strike plan for almost every corner of the world. Most of these plans are put in the shelves and only reviewed and updated as part of 'yearly' administrative 'maintenance'. Some of them are reviewed more frequently. Strike plan for Iran is one of those that is being reviewed and updated on DAILY basis, and this is nothing new. This has been the case since IRI inception, over thirty years ago.

Now go to bed calmly. Because it's not going to happen.

In defense of his Islamist Rapist Republic, Mien Führer says:

“imagine an IRI general saying the same thing all hell will break loose. sky will fall! the wolves will cry! we must "preemptively" strike iran right now!” 

Well you do not need to “imagin it” they do say it all the time, here is just one example:

“We have set aside 100 military vessels for each (U.S.) warship to attack at the time of necessity,” Gen. Morteza Saffari was quoted as saying by the conservative weekly Panjereh.”

And

““Any moment the exalted supreme leader (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) orders — or should the enemy carry out the smallest threat against (Iran’s ruling) Islamic system — the Guard ... is ready for quick reaction,”

And

Saffari said more than 100 foreign warships were currently in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, adding that their sailors were “morsels” for Iran’s military to target, the newspaper reported.
