Photos: Iran Unveils Its First Locally Made Long-Range Unmanned Aerial Vehicle

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad unveiled on Sunday a new long-range drone, dubbed Karar, that reportedly can bomb targets at high speed, state television reported.

Television footage showed the president applauding as a blue cloth that had been covering the drone was pulled back to reveal a short aircraft painted in military-green with the words "bomber jet" written on its side.

عزیزان من، این مایه افتخار و مباهات همه ایرانی ها باید باشه که با وجود تحریم ها ملت ما عاجز نمونده و می تونه به این تکنولوژی هم دست پیدا کنه.  این بهتره یا بریم سراغ دلال های اصلحه مثل ادنان قاشقی یا منوچهر قربانی فر و امثال اینها؟  آقایون متخصص هوا و فضا که کامنت گذاشتن حداقلش اینه که مثل پیکان شروع می کنیم و بعد از سی سال به یه جایی می رسیم ولی بالاخره باید یه جا شروع کرد.  این هم شروع خوبیه و چند پرواز آزمایشی هم در افغانستان داشته که آمریکایها رو خیلی گوز پیچ کرد.

I pity characters like Yousef. But then it is the nature of unmoderated comment sites like IC

Even people with no knowledge of debate rules and ethics can utter what they like. Still, the advantages of having such a space beats the disadvantages by far.
