Hardline Shiite cleric and the spiritual and religious father of members of the administration said during a speech he delivered at ayatollah Khamenei's office in the city of Qom that opponents to the rule of the Islamic republic supreme leader are "moharebs" [enemies of God] and that "Democracy, freedom, and human rights have no place" in Islamic theology. The religious leader of the Shiite Taliban, who has resumed delivering speeches among military and paralimitary forces and his followers after several months, said, "Today, if people came and surrendered and submitted to the rule of the guardian of all Muslims, others who disrupt, make trouble or seek to carry out a coup must be stopped with the use of force."

Mesbah Yazdi, who is also a member of the Association of Teachers of Qom Theological Center (Jame Modaresin Hoze Elmie Qom), declared that the imposition of "Islamic laws are mandatory following submission,' adding, "Some say, we are Muslims and want to implement Islamic laws. Executive work and management also requires an Imam, and when people submit to their Imam, and an Islamic government was established, and the holy order has materialized, if, after that, someone protested, he must be confronted and put in his place. Also, implementing Islamic laws requires implementing Islamic penal laws. If someone is a thief, his hand must be amputated, and this is not a place to back down for cultural reasons against ... >>>

Please excuse Mark

by Fair on

He is a stateless terrorist who gave himself a fake rank, as well as the right to dictate to the Iranian people that they should be subjects in a military dictatorship.

Of course, if he could actually point out what distortion and cherry picking there was, that would be great.  But as usual, he has no argument except to blindly defend medieval fascism.

In other words, he is truly a nobody when it comes to Iran.

Give Yazdi a credit!

by Maryam Hojjat on

for saying the truth for first time.  Khomeini said so many lies in Paris before landed in IRAN.  This Akhoond Yazdi says the truth about their barbaric Islam.

vildemose Jaan, don't let your blood boil over these

IRI supporters.  They are trolling...and that's a good thing.  Because that's what they have been reduced to.  They have no arguments, no responses, no justifications for IRI's crimes...nothing.  They have been reduced to a roaming band of cyber-hooligans, attacking other users who disagree with the IRI.  They do that with chains, batons metal pipes and guns on the streets of Iran, but since they can't physically beat people up on the internet, they attack them with their keyboard and call them agents of this and that.

@Mark Pirouz: MOIS Talking Points 24/7

by vildemose on

Mark: your VEVAK-manufactured monotonous mantra only exposes YOU as a dangerous and mentally-disturbed fanatic. It proves that what YOU say and repeat ad-nauseaum applies mostly to YOURSELF and your pathological ideology. You sound like a robot that is soley programmed to repeat Vevak's talking points on IC on every thread...Please seek some professional help.

Sargord Mark Merat complaining of distortions and cherry-picking

by thexmaster on

That's classic!  It appears that it's not just Fred that is making Mark froth at the mouth, call people corrupt and lacking in education.  I wonder how Mark knows there was cherry-picking, if he hasn't read or heard the whole speech.

Good Job DK

I am sure Torquemada is turning in his grave.  His legacy is now being carried by the likes of Temsah Yazdi, and Janati.  Soon they will all be joined together and our country will be free of this Islamic backward way of thought.  Just remember burning the Quran is not against people's faith, but against a way of thought as backward as this moron's.

The point was to take back

by vildemose on

The point was to take back Iran to the dark ages, period. The IRI is no different than the  tribunal of the holy office of the inquistion or as I call it Islamic inquistion.

Mesbah Yazdi telling the truth

by afshinazad on

This towel head is quite right, in Islam there is no human rights nor the freedom. because with 7th century rule of laws which there was no law in arab tribes they were bunch of wild animals and  I don't understand why are we surprised to hear from these murders and thugs. if Iranian keep ignoring their rights and being silent, these thugs will rule for ever.

SARGORD PEEVE: What makes you think that your ideology is right, isn't it that you are nothing but syber thug and attack every one on this site and others with nonsense.

For gastric flatulation, watch DK’s video.  For encephalonic flatulation, read Mesbah-Yazdi’s speech.

Such shameless distortions

by Sargord Pirouz on

Such shameless distortions and cherry picking of the speech.

I'm no follower of Yazdi, but the political case for opposing his views are not in any way served by this obvious hit job of slanderous journalism.

DK, you obviously lack the scholastic aptitude to see through these things properly. Or, equally likely, you're just plain corrupt.
