US hikers reason for being on Iran border remains disputed

Sarah Shroud’s release by Iran earlier in the week was made without any agreement of a similar gesture by the United States, but Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has indicated his country would appreciate such a gesture nonetheless.
