So we agree on two things:

• Attack on Iran by Israel is a bad idea.
• Brzezinski is not a friend of Iran.

The thing we *may* disagree on is Islamic Republic. I want the IRI gone; Brzezinski wants it to remain in power and I don't know where you stand. I know it is and has been a failure. Millions of Iranians of all walks has spoken with their actions. They got up and left. This is not just a few thousand "Shahis" as my good friend "Marhoum Kharmagas" might say. It is almost 10% of the population. The Islamist Republic has failed in politics; economics; culture; and religion. A full one half of Iranians outside of Iran have rejected Islam. This was not so before Mollahs got to power. They have ruiined everything including Islam.

Will IRI survive: No. How long will it take for it to fall? I don't know. Say if manages to hang on to power through terror for another 30 years (God forbid). It does not matter. It already lost the war of ideologies. To many people it is an occupation force. Imposed by Britain and Carter with far less legitimacy than previous regimes. However **** like Brzezinski and Carter cannot give up on their rotten child. They remind me of a parent of a criminal. They keep making excuses that little "IRI" is really a good boy if you get to know him!! He just kills people because he is misunderstood.

Dime A Dozen!

Someone asked why some Iranians would love to see the regime in Tehran stay in power. I said, if there were a democracy in Iran what would they do? And as for big B. he certainly does not have Iran's interests in mind and anything hr says must be taken with a hefty grain of salt! Disaster? Have people in the Middle East known anything, but disaster? People like Brzezinski get paid to say anything as soon as they go into retirement. Hey, they even advertise Viagra! War is BAD? What else is new!!! Do we need to hear it from entities like B.? Didn't Iranians experience one for 8 years provoked by the mullahs, initiated by Saddam and prolonged by the mullahs?

You did say that you agreed with his point. I should have acknowledged it. Also, I did not mean to sound dismissive of what you had said.

That said, I am not sure if I can agree with most of what you have said. Here are my bullet points:

• Brzezinski does not have the interests of Iranian people or IRI at heart.
• IRI is not his creation.
• IRI could survive, and I am guessing that it will.
• The real enemy of peace in the region is Israel.
• IRI is not the real source of the problem in the middle-east. U.S. foreign policy is.

I said I agreed with him over this point. It will be a disaster but not the way he says. He starts with a grain of truth then builds a lot of conjuncture around it.

• He mixes up attack by Israel with attack by USA.
• He assumes that Iranians are behind Islamic Republic.
• He assumes that IRI will survive.

Instead of what is good he wants his little Islamist experiment to succeed.  

Brzezinski wants the world to basically do nothing. Just accept the Islamic Republic and its barbarity. He said not one work about rights of Iranian people. Because he could care less.

Brzezinski has a hidden agenda. I am not sure what it is but it has elements of:

• He wants his name redeemed. Brzezinski is a failed "expert" whose little plan with Khomeini went awray. If Islamic Republic is overthrown is proves his failure. If "we" somehow deal with it he may be redeemed.
• Brzezinski does not like Israel. He may think they have gone too far; or whatever axe he has. He wants them cut down to size. Nothing does that better than a few American jet fighters chasing of Israeli ones.

This man is no good and is not a friend of Iran. He is up to something and I hope we find out soon. Again: I don't trust Brzezinski and want to see what is his motive for this position. Yes I am paranoid and in general don't trust foreign "experts" specially when I know their history.

Israeli attack

I know an Israeli attack on Iran is a disaster. In fact have written on why it should be avoided many times. Therefore I don't need that idiot Brzezinski to tell me. But even a broken clock is right twice a day. Thus Brzezinski gets this one right.
Just to remind people:
Brzezinski is the man who came up with the Green Belt operation.
