King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia urged Iran's foreign minister to "spare us your evil" in a meeting that reflected profound Arab hostility to the Islamic Republic – a recurrent theme of high-level private conversations in the Middle East in recent times.
Leaked state department cables catalogue a litany of complaints from the Saudis and smaller Gulf states, as well as Egypt, Jordan and others, on issues from Tehran's nuclear ambitions, to its involvement in Iraq and support for Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Palestinian Hamas.
"You as Persians have no business meddling in Arab matters," the Saudi monarch was quoted as telling Manouchehr Mottaki, Iran's foreign minister. "Iran's goal is to cause problems," he continued in a conversation with a senior White House official. "There is no doubt something unstable about them."

by yolanda on Mon Nov 29, 2010 06:51 PM PSTHi RG,
Thank you for your post......I recall when Israel bombed Gaza......20,000 Iranian college kids signed up to fight for Gaza and they were ready to martyr themselves for Gaza........IRI did not let them fight...(actually I am glad that their lives are spared)...IRI loves to stir up people's emotion and take advantage of young people's humanity!
Please take care!
P.S. IRI has a couple of friends, like Hugo Chavez....but the friends are in a different continent!
Head of the snake
by siavash1000 on Mon Nov 29, 2010 03:02 PM PSTAs long as I.R is in power, there wouldn't be a peace in Middle East. International communities should take care of these monsters first, then peace will follow. These Islamic criminal gang has no mercy for human lives and jeopardize all people's live for their ambitions by trying to expand their territory and imposing barbaric, savage laws of 1400 years ago to the people of region.
Thanks King Abdullah for separating persians from Arabs.

by yolanda on Mon Nov 29, 2010 11:55 AM PSTDear Bavafa,
Thank you for your post........KSA is more corrupted than IRI....the whole country is run by (incompetent) family members.....they can't even have a fake/rigged election or any elections.....
It is alarming that IRI has so many enemies.......must be a PR disaster for IRI......not sure if they know or not......not sure if they care or not.
please take care!
I hate IRI
by rtayebi1 on Mon Nov 29, 2010 07:59 AM PSTbecause of these bastards, Iran may get bombed ( I so so hope not). IF it worth anything as an Iranian, I agree with Bavafa, and Doc M.

by G. Rahmanian on Sun Nov 28, 2010 10:51 PM PSTI'm sure you've heard some "experts" say that the region will be embroiled in a war spreading throughout the region if Iran is attacked. IR has never had any friends in the region except for the handful of groups it arms. If IR is such a great power, why didn't it move a finger when Lebanon, Gaza and Syria were bombed? No, the regime will not get involved because it is powerless and only the people in Gaza and Lebanon have to pay the price of its adventurism. Arab states must do more for the Israeli-Palestinian peace process, so IR would not use it for its own adventurism and expansionistic dreams. Iranians don't want another war and with IR regime in power the danger of another war will not go away!

by yolanda on Sun Nov 28, 2010 10:35 PM PSTHi! GR,
Press TV never mentioned any Iran-related leaks...absolutely nothing.......only mentioned US uses its embassies for espionage...
//www.presstv.com/detail/153065.html
That is nothing new......IRI has been calling US embassy "Den of Spies" since 1979.....last 2 days, US warned the world leaders that something embarrassing will be revealed by Wikileaks.......it is intriguing that US seemed to know ahead of time what would be released.....from now on, IRI can't say that (only) the West is against them.......only the West wants them destroyed......it is clear that IRI has a lot of enemies, who are the Moslem brothers........I was wondering if IRI will adjust its foreign policy & change its behaviors and make more friends instead of making enemies.......IRI is truly under siege both from within and internationally......
I am waiting for IRI's reaction toward Saudi King Abdullas' hostile comment....
Please take care!
Too Bad!
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Nov 28, 2010 10:17 PM PSTToo bad Iran didn't become part of the Soviet Empire. Then things would been real cool!

Where are you? kam peidaee?
Yolanda:
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Nov 28, 2010 09:33 PM PSTI had the same thought as well about the leak. But the idea seems far-fetched. I am writing something about things coming into the open. It is the smartest way to deal with IR. And Iranians in exile will eventually gain from that. Iranians inside Iran will benefit only if the regime is overthrown.
Absolutely agreed
by Doctor mohandes on Sun Nov 28, 2010 09:26 PM PSTWith Bavafa.
Their king is The biggest AzzWhole Traitor in the whole entire region. F Him and F his whole Khandan. It Bolis my blood that these idiots deny in the broad day light their obvious involvement in The 9/11 tragedy:(( and have the gall to demand that Iran be bombed. Ey Tof berooye Al e Sooghoot Family.
Are we down to a point that "at least" being called Persain by some Traitor, Bastard, Thief representing a Charlatan Clan is what should make us proud? How desparate have we Become?
What is the next Step? asking The K..K.. majesty if we can borrow his Airforce Jetfighters so we can Begin launching our Bombing campaign against iran, Because We think we are fed up and something Must be done????
Bavafa:
by G. Rahmanian on Sun Nov 28, 2010 09:19 PM PSTSince you have addressed my comment I have this to say to you: You and I do not think the same. I don't care what you think and how you want to deal with the Satanic Cult Ahmadinejad is creating and regime's warmongering rhetoric and activities under whatever pretexts since it's advent to power. Try to keep to your turf and I'll do the same. I am not here to argue with you whether the severance of diplomatic and economic ties is better or bombing of Iran. Read Iran's history of the past three decade, if you haven't done so, and learn what happened to Iranians as a result of the war with Iraq and then maybe we can talk. By the way, it is called etiquette to address a king, "Your Majesty" regardless of what you may think of the king. I'm sure delegations which visit the kingdom of Saudi Arabia all do the same. Ask around!
Dear Yolanda,
by Bavafa on Sun Nov 28, 2010 07:06 PM PSTWe ought to keep in mind that this reflects only the view of the Arab goverments which they are as undemocratic as IRI or in many cases worse, and no one really thought they have much love for Iranians or IRI.
Having said that, I am not suggesting that Arab population have much love for IRI as they are as much against any dictatorial regimes just like Iranian people are and IRI is not much different then their own puppet governments.
Of course that is only my view of the Arab world.

by yolanda on Sun Nov 28, 2010 06:59 PM PSTAfter reading this article, here is my thoughts:
1) Is this an intentional leak by US? This leak hurts IRI more than it hurts US......it shows IRI is very unpopular internationally.....it gives the justification for bombing Iran ( I hope, it will never happen!).......I just checked Press TV, it has not mentioned a word that so many Arab States hate IRI and speak negatively about IRI......I understand IRI is embarrased by the revelations! It looks like IRI has more enemies than N. Korea.......
2) Khamenei and AN wanted to be the leaders for Moslem world.....well, they can't forget about it!
3) Arab States calling Persian Gulf "Arabian Gulf" is the just the tip of Iceberg.......the feud runs deeper than the nomenclature!
4) AN is (was?) portrayed as highly popular in Moslem world (but unpopular in Iran).......is that really true?
Well, considering that any
by Bavafa on Sun Nov 28, 2010 06:10 PM PSTWell, considering that any of these Arab regimes are far worse then IRI itself, I am not sure if it would carry much weight in terms of recalling their staff. Instead of siding and cheering with Arab puppet and dictatorial governments, it would help if more moderate and respectable and democratic regimes pull their staff. Don't you think so?
Or is it that our hate for IRI is in such way that we are ready to cheer for any other charlatan regime that goes against IRI?
I have more respect for any low life common criminal then the "your majesty" of Saudi Arabic, Jordan, Egypt, or any of other Arab or non-Arab dictators, that specially includs IRI regime.

by G. Rahmanian on Sun Nov 28, 2010 04:54 PM PSTRecalling the staff of your embassy from Tehran and severing ties with IR would be highly appreciated by tens of millions of Iranians. Thank you!
Thank you King Abdullah
