by Anonymouse on Fri Dec 10, 2010 11:15 AM PSTDo you know Hazaraat-e Ali-Asghar and Ali-Akbar? During Shah's time in Ashoura they mixed it with Tazieh (Ferdowsi story telling) and would bring you to tears.
I think they were nephews of Imam Hussein but I'm not so sure now! Anyway, kids dress as pumpkin in USA during Halloween, kids in Iran dress as Hazaraate Ali-Akbar and Ali-Asghar! Although, I think there is an age limit and after 5 or 6 they can't dress as Teflon Moslem, though I don't know how they ended up becoming a Hazrat at such a young age!
I find them cute, wrong, but cute!
