Iranian Cineastes Majidi, Asgarpur, Mirkarimi, Heidarian pay a visit to an Ayatollah in Qom

A group of Iranian cineastes visited Ayatollah Abdollah Javadi Amoli in his office in Qom on Wednesday. The group included Majid Majidi, Reza Mirkarimki, Mohammad-Mehdi Asgarpur, Mohammad-Mehdi Heidarian, Mohammad Davudi and several other cineastes, Persian press reported on Thursday. Ayatollah Javadi Amoli asked the cineastes to discard the terms of 'play' and 'acting' from the art literature.

What Bit Them to appear as Nokar's of a Power which wishes to dictate them what is good or bad ? 

This visit looks either like an endorsement of what this Clueless Ayatollah has said about Cinema or simply an impotence on behalf of a film community which has chosen to bend in front of Pressure and State Censorship instead of resisting.
