TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran is ready for building breakwater, jetty and port facilities in Syria, said Iranian Commander of Navy Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari. An Iranian high-profile military delegation led by Brigadier General Habibollah Sayyari is in Syria for talks with military and political officials of the neighboring country. "Arrival of Iranian navy warships in Suez Channel was a great measure," Sayyari said. "Iranian army is able to carry out naval cooperation with Syria on training and keeping ships as well as fighting piracy," he continued. Sayyari invited Syrian naval officials to visit Iranian indigenous naval achievements. Syrian Navy Commander Brigadier General Taleb Al-Barri on his part welcomed the invitation and expressed satisfaction over Iran's progress. Iran's Navy Commander is on a six-day official visit to Syria.
