NCRI – People in the city of Ahvaz protested against the Iranian regime on Wednesday, pushing back against cruel attacks by the regime’s suppressive forces. At least two people have been reported dead and dozens more injured as a result of the clashes. According to al-Arabiya TV on Wednesday, when the paramilitary Bassij agents tried to abuse and arrest a number of people in Ahvaz’s Siahi region, others and especially the youth rose up and clashed with the forces. The clashes were reported to be intense on the Ahvaz highway where two people were killed by the paramilitary Bassij agents. According to reports, the number of injured has reached over 150, including at least 30 women.
