MANAMA, May 1 (Xinhua) -- Bahrain has called for boycotting all Iranian products in protest at Iran's allegedly meddling into the tiny Gulf nation's internal affairs.
The Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) has agreed to boycott two-day trade cooperation, Bahrain's Gulf Daily News newspaper reported on Sunday.
"We denounce Iran's blatant interference in the internal affairs of Bahrain, including its speeches and statements against the kingdom," the daily quoted a BCCI statement as saying.
"In light of this situation, the chamber calls all traders, businessmen, companies and other institutions to boycott Iranian goods and stop dealing with their merchants."
The daily said the annual trade volume between Iran and Bahrain amounts to 1.89 billion dinars (five billion U.S. dollars).

by amirparvizforsecularmonarchy on Sun May 01, 2011 03:55 PM PDTThe IRI tried banning Iranian Products too and it Just created Inflation and unemployment.
I think Bahrain should try banning American Products that way they will be supporting their own culture and creating more local jobs considering they are iranian too.
