Monty Python- The Annoying Peasant
You first do a Revolution to oust your King and now that you are dissatisfied with the outcome you are running after the former King's Son to Save you ...
Imagine if the French had done the same with King Louis XVI Son ...
How would the French ever take their history seriously or the Republican ideals which they uphold as sincere ? ...
Proving if needed that there is nothing GENUINE about Your political mindset and Bankrupt Jomhurykhah solutions.

Contrary to what you claim the Crown Prince never relinquished his right to the Throne. He said that it was not his priority at this stage of the struggle for Iran's Freedom.
From that point of view I do not see any contradiction with his claim to the Throne whose acceptance will depend on the People's ultimate endorsement.
That You personally have a problem with the concept of Royalty or his Legitimacy to that claim is your right.
But then don't try to define something you clearly don't understand:

by sam jade on Tue May 17, 2011 09:22 AM PDTI like what Reza Pahlavi said , looks like his views has changed after years , it is sort of normal for all of us " human change " through years of our lives , the way we thought 30 years ago and now is way different , I am not the same person I was 30 years ago,,FINE,,
Now Reza Pahlavi said time after time many years ago , since he had no choice and it was customary he was crowned To be next SHAH of Iran ,
If you look at his interview with Kamran Hosseini in Parazit , he clearely says those days are gone he accepted "the change " also said: I am no more crown prince but if some like to call me so it is fine too , history changed and our people changed , something that might worked 50 years ago , it is not working anymore ,, NOW I am amazed with those kiss ass people whom won't let it go , keep calling him "Crowne Prince " , If Reza Pahlavi does not insist on it and does not call himself "Crowned Prince " why those people would not stop ,, and consider him an activist or a well known political figure ,,, Iran is in this mess mostly because of those "KIss A's" whom surronded his father , no one dare to tell him the truth (very few did) and he was under worng impression, for years..,, stop this none sense , Shah of Iran did many great things also had lots of weak point and screwed up many others , normal human , Reza Pahlavi wants to be a supporter of future democracy of Iran , not the "Godess",
