He told reporters on Monday that the project to produce fuel plates with 20 percent purity was in the final stages.

Reactor, which produces radioisotopes for cancer patients.
The Iranian presidential advisor further explained that the plates will be launched according to the set timetable.

Monday, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Fereydoun
Abbasi said that the AEOI was installing the equipment required to turn
uranium hexafluoride or UF6 into fuel plates for Tehran's Research
Reactor.
UF6 is used in uranium enrichment process that produces fuel for nuclear reactors.
Abbasi
said that Iran had earlier produced dummy fuel plates, adding that
Tehran had no problem producing fuel for Tehran's reactor.
