TEHRAN,
June 19 (MNA) -- Iran’s nuclear program cannot be ignored by foreign
officials under any circumstances, even with the current problematic
situation in the Middle East and North Africa, in which the interests of
the Western powers are being seriously threatened. Now the Westerners
are using anti-Iran propaganda to deal with the current wave of Arab
uprisings.
The statements
and reports that come out from time to time, especially those issued by
the International Atomic Energy Agency in relation to Iran’s nuclear
program, are like a never-ending TV series.
There are
serious problems with the latest IAEA reports on Iran, and especially
the legal charges they contain, which in my opinion are not based on
logical reasoning. According to IAEA Director General Yukiya Amano,
Iran’s nuclear program and activities are entirely peaceful and they
have been conducted within the framework of the nuclear
Non-Proliferation Treaty. Therefore, the issues raised in the latest
report have no legal basis.
