TEHRAN - The Iranian Red Crescent Society is seriously pursuing efforts to build 2 hospitals in the holy cities of Karbala and Najaf, according to the Fars News Agency.

Abolhassan Faghih, head of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, said Iraq has allocated the land for the purpose and Iran will construct the hospitals, provide medical equipment and medical team as well.

Faghih also said the IRCS has awarded 4 ambulances to the Iraqi Red Crescent Society which were to be handed over to Iraq on Wednesday.

Ahmad Yasin Abbas, the president of Iraqi Red Crescent Society, sought Iran’s help in providing medical services to millions of pilgrims who pour into Karbala to mark Shabaniyah festival (Ziyarah Ash-Shabaniyah).

Terrorist regime to spend money on Najaf

by Simorgh5555 on

Isn't that charming. Areas such as Khuzestan and Khoramshahr are broken and in need of dire investment. Worker go on strike in the public sector demanding payment in arrears and this regime still has money to build hospitals in Najaf and Karbala all because a Haramzadeh Imam lived and died there hundreds of years ago. Iranians have seen the ir subsidies been cut ostensibly so the economy could save money and now th ereckless spend it on some shithole in Najaf and Karbala.
