IBNA: According to the public relations office of the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in the meeting, expansion of mutual ties between the two countries including joint effort for retrieving World War II documents were agreed upon.

In the meeting, Salahi demanded the realization of the agreements between the two countries.

He invited Polish library directors to trip to Iran to learn about the potential cooperation between the libraries of the nations. Despite the large geographical distance between Iran and Poland, the two nations have a lot of historical events in common.

As he said, collection and retrieving WWII documents began by an order from the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran and is aimed at surveying hidden historical realities.

He further added that an exhibition will be held by the Polish government on the impact of Iranian culture on Polish culture. The event is slated to be held during fall and will hopefully be hosted by the National Library and Archives Organization of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
