She hailed those participating in uprisings in the Middle East and Ashraf residents

On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance Maryam Rajavi congratulated her compatriots inside and outside of Iran; the Muslims throughout the world, especially those participating in uprisings in Syria, Libya, Yemen and Iraq; the political prisoners in Iran; and those struggling for freedom in Ashraf. She emphasized that in Ramadan, for the true followers of Muhammad, voicing their abhorrence of the clerical regime ruling Iran as the abominable enemy of Islam and Muslims, and supporting those who have risen up against it is an urgent Islamic duty.

Has the MEK reformed and committed to secularism?

by Simorgh5555 on

How much should we read into this Ramadan message from Maryam Rajavi? Politicians such as Rudy Giuliani, the devious John Bolton should be wary of who they are lending their support to. Then again, unscrupulous politicians such as Giuliani and Bolton will take the money from whatever source and when the real MEK in all its Islamic-Marxist ugliness rears its head they will quickly cover their backsides and deny responsibility. Let us be clear. The US decision to support an armed resistance group is both vital to Iranian interests just as it is to the United States. The lack of willingness on the part of other opposition groups in exile is directly responsible for the surge in support for Washington's support of the MEK.

Congress should not delist the MEK until they 1) depose Rajavi and 2) support a charter committed to a secular democracy.

However, military action and an armed resistance group is necessary for the liberation of Iran.

As part of your #2 proposal, the doors of camp Ashraf should be opened to let their prisoners (or members) choose to stay or leave.
