TEHRAN,
Aug. 13 (MNA) -- Iranian lawmakers have recently approved a bill to
obligate academic centers and universities in the country to provide
free education for Iranians who memorize the entire Holy Quran.
All expenses
will be paid by the State Endowment and Charity Affairs Organization
(SECAO), SECAO Deputy Director Hojjatoleslam Ahmad Sharafkhani said in
press conference last week.
The applicants’
qualifications to enter the academic centers and universities should be
approved by one of these institutions: the Educational Testing Service,
the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization or the SECAO.
Applicants must also undergo a series of tests, which will be held from September 7 to 12.
