Iran's basketball team on Sunday won the 2011 William Jones International Basketball Tournament after beating South Korea, the semi-official Mehr news agency reported.
Iran, who had already won the title in the past two editions, beat the South Koreans 66-59 in the final game in China's Taiwan.
Iran is gearing up for the FIBA Asian Championship scheduled to be held in Wuhan, China from September 15 to 25 where the champion goes to the Olympics next year.
According to the report, in the bronze medal match, the Philippines defeated China's Taiwan 82-72 and finished at third place.
