اتحادیه اروپا، سپاه قدس ایران را به دلیل پشتیبانی از حکومت سوریه در "سرکوب معترضان" در این کشور تحریم کرده است.

این اتحادیه نام ۱۵ فرد و ۵ نهاد از جمله سپاه قدس، واحد برون مرزی سپاه پاسداران انقلاب اسلامی ایران، را در فهرست تازه تحریم‌های خود در ارتباط با وقایع سوریه قرار داده است.

در اطلاعیه رسمی اتحادیه اروپا، از سپاه قدس به عنوان نیروی ویژه سپاه پاسداران نام برده شده و دلیل تحریم این نیرو " تامین تجهیزات و پشتیبانی از سرکوب معترضان در سوریه" عنوان شده است.

شماری از کشورهای غربی از مدت‌ها پیش نهادهای امنیتی و نظامی جمهوری اسلامی ایران را به همکاری با حکومت سوریه در اقدامات خشونت‌آمیز علیه معترضان در آن کشور و ارائه تجربیات خود در مقابله با تظاهرات اعتراضی در ایران متهم می‌کنند.

I think they are actually

I think they are actually catching up. They have finally realized that having relations with a terrorist theocratic regime in Iran (IRR) will be consequantial. Russia is also becoming more aware of having a theocracy right next door to them is becoming a big issue. I hope thyis will not become like "noosh daroo baad az marge sohrab". rememember that America actually supporeted the Taliban in the cold war era to fight against the Soviets. The same talibans became ain Issue for the whole world later. I hope that the Europeans and Russians learn from history....
