with Shushtari on this one. They knew what is going on. There is also ample evidence that the soldiers were provoked. It was a set up to make the Mullahs looks good at the expense of clueless youth; the Shah and Iranian people.

but the point I'm making is that all the facts point to the shah NOT wanting to shed blood- that is why he left the country, and it was overrun by the barbarians...

as far as the 'victims' on that day- they chose to go out based on the instructions of a bunch of spineless and semi-literate beevatan akhoonds- who would gladly sacrifice the youth of iran (just like the war with iraq) but not their own!  So they took the risk and put themselves in that dangerous position.  

I don't condone what happened, but, like I said, there is overwhelming evidence of palestinian mercenaries who were shooting at the soldiers from within the crown and from the buildings- that's why they opened fire.....the same method was used in cinema rex- where the akhoonds burned 400 innocent people alive in abadan, and blamed it on the shah!!!

The writer clearly is critical of the islamist regime. He mentions the fact that "hadi Ghaffari and other mullahs" were suddenly missing from the scene on Jaleh square, although they had called this demonstration themselves. The writer condemns the murder of green movement supporters by the islamist regime throughout this fine article.

It matters less how many people Shah killed on Jaleh square vs many khamenei killed post 2009 elections.  What matters more is that They both shed innocent blood. They both are going to be judged by the people accordingly. This is the whole point of this blog if we read and understand it fully. The whole point of the blog is that we need to move away from dictatorships, be it of shah or sheikh or any other form. Surely we should have learnt this by now....
