I actually found
by Anahid Hojjati on Fri Nov 25, 2011 11:23 AM PSTfound the 50 year old blogger 's picture a more credible protest just because of the kind of comments like Disenchanted's comment that she might be receiving now. So the fact that she still did it shows her committment to hambastegi with Egyptian blogger rather than making it a case of exhibitionalism. When someone with a body that media considers hot poses nude and they say that it is for Hambastegi, you are not sure that they are doing it for hambastegi or a marketing of themselves. But then they would say that just because they have a hot body, does not mean that they can not do hambastegi. This brings to the point of this campiagn which is for women to take ownership of their bodies. One commentator on the thread of All-Iranians's yesterday's blog had a link to "Parissa Kakaee" 's article which discusses the same issue.
Oh No.....! yuk...protester discretion is advised! :-)
by Disenchanted on Fri Nov 25, 2011 11:13 AM PSTPleeeeease....if you are a 50 yr old mama, out of shape please avoid joining this one protest! :-) Please sit this one out!
sorry for being politically incorrect but naaaah!
Dear Maryam H., I don't think it takes courage to post naked pic
by Oon Yaroo on Fri Nov 25, 2011 10:30 AM PSTon the Internet when one lives outside of Iran!
It may take venturousness but not courage! Furthermore, the naked guy lying down in a bathtub comes across to be more pervertible than protesting!
Although, I would still love to see 1M Iranian men and women protesting in nude on the streets of Tehran!
Great Cooperation with Alia
by Maryam Hojjat on Fri Nov 25, 2011 09:53 AM PSTIt required a great courage to do this.
