Iran launches state-funded Spanish language TV channel

Iran has launched its very first Spanish speaking channel - funded and run by the Iranian government.

Hispan TV representatives have said that the channel - which broadcasts 16 hours daily - will not spread religious news and will focus on current affairs and documentary programmes - as well as films and TV dramas.
