محمدتقی مصباح یزدی، روحانی پرنفوذ در جمهوری اسلامی، در تازه‌ترین تمجید از علی خامنه‌ای رهبر جمهوری اسلامی، او را «نمونه‌ای برجسته از ائمه‌ اطهار» دانسته که «مانند او در جهان وجود ندارد».

هم‌زمان کاظم صدیقی، یکی از امامان جمعه‌ی تهران نیز در گفتگویی با مجله‌ی «پاسدار اسلام» به صاحب‌امتیازی دفتر تبلیغات اسلامی حوزه‌ی علمیه قم، گفت که «یقین دارد» که خامنه‌ای امام دوازدهم را که شیعیان معتقدند از نظرها غایب است، «مکررا» می‌بیند.

even Khomeini didnt eat the goh that these people are, so to speak, nowadays. Khomeini was a liar and con artist. But he knew his limits, and never claimed to be in contact with the heavens. (I guess he was too busy executing the opposition. hah!) But this guy? He really believes the divine holiness crap that his supporters are painting him with.
