Dear Sid Sarshar, Lord knows I try to be in touch... Some times it works for me and other times it doesn't. Thank you so much for your kind remark!

Thank you for seeing and your comment. I agree with your assessment: WO-Man, her- self/himself is the Beast and Nature all in one.

Man himself is the Beast and Nature all in one, may I add?

Thanks for sharing your images.

Thank you, welcome, and some explanations

by Monda on

Souri jaan, I didn't think anyone here would be interested in where and when! The "what" is right there, nah? : ))

Using my senses to inhale and process what's aroud me, matters to me, these days more than ever. I shared a bit of it, enjoying the simple elements, with my friends here. I'm glad that at least you got some entertainment out of these photos.

Faramarz, Milking the sheep is below milking cows, on my bucket list : )

Shazdeh, You are as perceptive as always! Thank you for the chuckles : )

Vildemose aziz, Thank you for acknowledging my point/ "connection". That was what I tried to relay to you. It's part of my regathering focus, as well as I can. I am also grateful to JJ for featuring these random shots, despite all the intensely important material that surrounds our community, daily. I guess he got my intention as well. Without clearing the mind and our intension, we cannot be productive - in any realm. We all do it in our own ways.

amirparvizforsecularmonarchy, MPD, Orang and Fanoos: I appreciate your attention and comments here.

By the way, consider these pics as my belated New Year wishes to you. I so hope in 2012 we achieve calm resolutions, within ourselves and with respect to the grave sensitive situation in our motherland.

The road to Emamzadeh Davood! From photo #2!

by fanoos on

I vividly remember the summer of 1969 when we took a trip to Emamzadeh Davood.

There was a chenar tree that resembled the front side of a woman right under the belly button!

It reminds me of the late Pooran's song,

....shab bood, tabestan bood, mahtab bood, yar bood, zeer drakhte chenar bood.....

Great Pictures Monda!

Now I know what you have been up to lately.

Have you learned how to milk the sheep?

Well-done. Every single one

by vildemose on

Well-done. Every single one is a feast for eyes. Your emotional connection to your subject (picture) comes through beautifully. Very happy you shared these gems with the IC readers.

Where, when ... what?

by Shazde Asdola Mirza on

Good questions!

1. The sheep don't have "donbeh", so it can't be Karaj.

4. The guy is hanged upside-down, so it can't be Tehran.

5. The Washington monument is standing, so it can't be "Independence Day".

6. The bald eagle is good looking, so it can't be LA.

13. The dogs roam free, so it can't be Esfahan.

16. There is no alcohol in sight, so it can't be a Shiite house.

If I had to venture a guess ... I'd say: Mamasani or Kazeroon ... between the 1st and 2nd WW!

No explanation?

I loved all the pictures Monda jon. Very nice. Everything is very beautiful, but i don't know nothing about the "where" or "when" they have been taken. Basheh?
