2008 Spring Summer collection
by
Masih Zad 11-Mar-2008
Born in 1984 in Esfahan, also known as "nesfe Jahan" (half of the world), Masih has always possessed the passion and exuberance for Persian art. Upon arrival in the Unites States, he started to design and produce a variety of Persian-style T-shirts, jeans and suits. Masih is inspired by designs utilized in Persian rugs, miniature paintings, and the art of Persian calligraphy. Masih's sole purpose and dream is to disseminate Persian art throughout the world by presenting one of the facets of Persian culture. He has surrendered his soul to this lofty cause, and consequently the uniqueness of his work, along with the singular aspects of it, sets him apart as a pioneer in this art

Where is the innovation?!
by Anonymous Guy (not verified) on Mon Mar 17, 2008 08:11 AM PDTThese are nice, but I don't see any innovation!
Printing Persian poetic calligraphy on clothes and T-shirts has become fashionable for several years. NimaNY (Nima Behnoud - the son of Masoud Behnoud) was a pioneer in this work. He and several others began printing T-Shirts and other clothing pieces with beautiful poetry written in traditional Persian calligraphy.
Again, I like these pictures and what they present, but this is hardly original anymore!

I left a comment for this fashion collection but it was not posted. It was not gross or vulgar but brief to the point. Here I have re-worded it just to see if it gets posted:
I would not wear these types of clothes, but I like the female models.
I love these print designs,
by katie (not verified) on Tue Mar 11, 2008 11:08 PM PDTI love these print designs, such as upside down graphics, reverse, etc. It looks very modern. And I love the tie also. It would be interesting to see these graphics in headscarves, pantyhose (needs to be done very artfully, and strategically ), may be accents of it here or there, and panties!
SEXY AND CLASSIC BUT EXPENSIVE
by Irooni irooni (not verified) on Tue Mar 11, 2008 10:25 PM PDTMasih Designs is extremely expensive but i would buy them all for sure if i had the money ....
I'm loving with the only tie that i have from him and great quality and detail.
UGLY
by EYE_RANIAN (not verified) on Tue Mar 11, 2008 09:42 PM PDTYou are missing one color on your palette, the ugly Green from Ashoura Flag! I am sure they can use this collection to promot Ashura Tasua.
FYI, one layer print is always gonna look cheap on a tee.

Same bloody thing all the
by Bloody Annoyed (not verified) on Tue Mar 11, 2008 03:04 PM PDTSame bloody thing all the time- Dark garments with a "BANG ON" white calligraphy.
Tell me what the heck makes it Persian? That patch in the middle?
Disseminating "Persian Art" using Arabic letters would finally make it clear to those freaks who we are.
And make them realize that even most beautiful "Arabic words" may start looking a little boring when used over and over and over again on the same poor old T-shirt and blouse.
Any new ideas? Have you drained so much?
