Ebrahim fell in the river

Photo essay: Friends go white water rafting

Two weeks ago a group of friends went rafting in one of the California rivers. The intensity of the raging white water was a "level 3", which is not that high, but for a bunch of people who were rafting only for the first or second time in their life, it was INTENSE. Ask Ebrahim!

These photos were taken by photographers who stand near the river and take pictures of tourists, for a living.

Is that you, Nersi?!! Looking good! Loved picture 19. We went rafting on Truckee River last summer and it was great fun. We had one casualty, too, but he survived. Looks like you guys had a blast; thanks for sharing the great pictures.

Nice pics and friendly atmosphere. but those guys with moustache is ruining the pics. why many iranian men think having moustache is unseparable part of their manhood.believe me if you shave your moustache nobody take you for a woman. I guess having moustache has something to do with cultural poverty which is common in middle east.

I've been to exactly the same ride in Sacramento area (level 3), and let me tell you, it is intense!!

The awesome power of WATER is something that yopu'll never forget. At times your are absolutely powerless and the nature forces you to bow down to her unbelievable force!

It was a great fun and I'll never forget my experience.

Thanks for sharing the photoes. Even though the pictures may not portray fully how much fun you guys actually had!

I recommed this this to all those who live in California...
