Iranian of The day today and forever
by Amir Nasiri (not verified) on Sun Oct 28, 2007 02:24 PM PDTIranian soldiers fought bravely an 8 year blody war. They fought wih little support and equipment. They came from all over Iran with different ethnic and religious background to defend the holly land and their mother land IRAN.
The enemy was supported from their ARAB neighbours and USA with money, equipment and intelligence.
USA knew about the chemical and biological weapons that Saddam was dropping on our soldiers but said nothing.

My suspicion is he's a commie like the idiots who exposed their privates in Europe during Hangi and others conference....OR just another so-called zartosht lover who's exploiting zartosht for his own agenda.
I have not seen him bashing communists or imperial family.
The way you curse anything that moves, I wonder if you can come up with a list of things that you hate and a list of things that you like.

The akhond was right not to give you ezdevaaj loan. Otherwise the money would come from poor people.
So i remember that during shah's regime many students in USa got the so called loan and never paid back.
Thos son of a bitches should be ashamed.
They benefitted from harjo marj. That was another example of shah's corruption.
I do not like akhond but you are a kos kash bacheh haji.

Bahram and Goli
by daydreamer (not verified) on Sun Oct 28, 2007 07:57 AM PDTBahram do you know what is our main problem as Persians? is the trait you just showed if we don't agree with someone we start calling them names, instead if you don't like what Goli said and if you were referring to her why don't you get into an intelligent debate with her instead of calling names and and saying she is not even human, she is more human than you could ever be, among all the comments here, hers is the most eloquent, a comment that Dr. Mosadagh, Gandhi , or Martin Luther King would have agreed a transition to a free Iran peacefully without any bloodshed. Goli I am proud of you as women that you brought some sanity here even though on my previous comment I did not consider them heroes, after reading your comment I agree that they are our heroes, Like you i am yearning for a free Iran.

Idiots like some
by BacheSoosools (not verified) on Sat Oct 27, 2007 09:31 PM PDTIdiots like some illegitimate children of Iran does not undertsand what these heroes did in the battle fronts. When you creeped into your scare holes those days or just deserted country to get to safehaven, these true heroes went wholeheartedly to clear out their homeland. I wonder what some of you idiots who are still under influence of your hatred and arrogam
nce would do if an enemy comes and nocks on your door to kick you outa your own warm bed. Perhaps, you will try giving up your home to please him not to hurt you!
We are in no position to judge these heroes. They are 1000's heroes, likes of arash kamangir!!!!!!
Thanks Majid jan
by daydreamer (not verified) on Sat Oct 27, 2007 09:07 PM PDTMajid jan I thank you for the explanation on the Arab shall, by flag I did not mean that they literally Cary one, other pictures I have seen they showered themselves with everything Islamic, I could not see any hint of anything Persian. Not to change the subject, isn't freedom great that we can give our opinions even though they might not be popular or politically correct, may we someday live in a free Iran. soon I hope.
DON;T WORRY ABOUT THE RATS !! IN THE HOUSE !!!
by Dariush-112 (not verified) on Sat Oct 27, 2007 07:49 PM PDTMy dear fellow Iranian ,most of us are more or less familiar with past history of our country Iran and Our 2500 year history of bravery in the face of aggressions . As you know There were always those few Iranians that sold their country and their namoos for their own petty gains or to help the enemy succeed . But as you all showed in here just like our 2500 yrs history, including our current history shows, there are always and I mean always Many more of those true blood Iranians that no matter what their orientation , they will stand up and defend Iran in the face of foreign aggregation to their last drop of blood and that is why we are such a proud nation and this is why we will prevail our enemy every time . hail(dorood ) to every true Iranian and hail( Dorood) to all who died defending Iran .
Dorood
by B (not verified) on Sat Oct 27, 2007 07:46 PM PDTGod bless Iran's true heroes!
Obviously this IRI is an anti-Iranian regime, but this does not make these sons of Iran any less valuable!
And one more thing
by Majid on Sat Oct 27, 2007 05:59 PM PDTAbout the "arabi shall" that "day dreamer" is referring to.
MOST of war fronts took place in KHOOZESTAAN , with Desert environmet and climat, Arabic tribes, Arabic culture and Arabic outfit (ie. Dashdaashe or Arab shaal) !
To have something that protects them from sizzling sun, wipe off their sweats with, blocking their eyes from sand storm , that was THE outfit !
Excuse them for not wearing their "christian Dior" scarf or a fresh white towel !
Nader, thank you, I think I have a good friend here, DADAASH....:-)

Majid jan is right on the money again!

Majid jan, thanks for a great note. Even though I don't think they understand a single word of it dadash!
To Ali and Daydreamer
by Majid on Sat Oct 27, 2007 04:41 PM PDTNow it's "THEIR" fault that IRI is still in power ?????
And they were there to "become "martyr" ????
And to prove it "they didn't have Iranian flag" ????
I underestand fighting under your flag , but They were there to kick ass, not for "show", you jack ass!
I'm sure if they dropped the gun to carry the flag, you were next in line to grab that gun !
If someone breaks into your house, you run into your drawer to pull up "deed and mortgage papers" or you reach for whatever you can get your hands on to kick his ass first ??
p.s. Please note :
3 men in 3 different uniforms !!!!!!!!!
Their "uniform" was their GHEIRAT !!!!!!!
not our heroes< at least not all of them
by daydreamer (not verified) on Sat Oct 27, 2007 02:49 PM PDTAli I agree with you, these soldier mostly went so they can become martyr. they were exited to go to war since Khomeini gave them the key to heaven.( if Khomeini had the key to heaven why is he in hell burring?) although my heart goes to them but like you said they kept these savages in power, if it was not for this war these molas would not last this long, once they showed their true evil face they would have vanished before they could get their mercenaries to kill anyone objecting these animals. most of these soldiers did not have a Iranian flags when they went to war they had their Islamic banner, just look at one of them are wearing the Arab shall.
True Iranian Heroes (L)
by Shirin on Sat Oct 27, 2007 12:57 PM PDTMay those who served in that war be remembered and honored. They were the true Iranians.
They represented the beautiful Iranian value of gheirat. Those volunteers who died to protect the namoos (chastity) of Iranzamin.
The other day, a pathetic imbecile wrote a comment ridiculing the braveries of these heroes and ended with cursing them and their mothers. I was so deeply hurt by the comment that I decided to stay away from Iranian websites for a while.
I truly pity the sorry souls who do not comprehend the meaning of shahaadat (martyrdom) and belittle the service of those brave young men who sacrificed their youth in fighting the barbaric aggressors.
I hope one day, they will wake up and appreciate what those heroes and their families offered to our Motherland.
I wonder...
by Foad on Sat Oct 27, 2007 10:29 AM PDTI wonder where Jahel Hemayat who call himself colonel was.
No matter if we like mullahs or not (as I don't), Iran was attacked by Saddam and MEK as Saddam puppets. These brave people responded with their heroism unmatched in that region.

Our Heroes
by Faribors Maleknasri M.D. (not verified) on Sat Oct 27, 2007 10:04 AM PDTOn the days of war i saw a serie of these pictures. I could just feel the heartly atmosphere there. i have never felt a similar atmosphere in a pictur else. yes they are all our heroes. who knows where iran had been today and in whoes devilish hand now without them. I am convinced: The ones who made the Revolution and have kept it till now they all lay in beheshte sahra and other martyrer cemetry. Nobody else can ever claim he was the one who bowed even a finger for the revolution. God bless them. God bless our iran. Down with all devils.
Long Live Iran
by Ali Kordestani (not verified) on Sat Oct 27, 2007 07:29 AM PDTI have tears in my eyes looking at these guys. They did so much and were so in love. They were watching after one another in Jebhe that made them heroes that they are. They did it for our Iran. Hope we will hold them high where they belong and pray for their families. Our next generation should be a bit like them so the foreigners will always think twice before imagining an attack.
Absolute heroes!
by Nader on Fri Oct 26, 2007 08:24 PM PDTThank you for saving our "pride" and our "country" when we needed it most.
