by Reza T (not verified) on Sun Mar 09, 2008 01:29 PM PDTI love women, respect their right and thoroughly believe in equal rights. But as a boy that is in his early 30s and deals with new generation of educated and independent girls; I think, you need to use your power in a controlled way to change Iranian boys gradually to what they are supposed to be.

by Bored Iranian dude (not verified) on Sun Mar 09, 2008 05:55 AM PDTAre you quoting that slime and looking up to her?? Do you know the death and destruction this woman pulled off on Yoguslavia and Sudan?? The same woman who said that the hundreds of thousands of dead iraqi children from the Iraq sanctions of the 90's was "necessary"?? Did she help the mother of those children, hm??
I've helped the 1 million petition and look forward for equal rights in Iran, but from one time to another, and this is typical iranian women who do little background check and try to play intelligent, some one sticks their dumb head out and quotes monsters as their heroes just because the author of that quote is a woman, your stupidity and lack originality disgusts me and is a shame for the woman rights movement in Iran.

I believe in equality of men
by Just a man (not verified) on Sat Mar 08, 2008 08:05 PM PSTI believe in equality of men and women. I don’t think such a day should be considered as a disgrace day for men in general. So, if (some of ) you, don’t consider me as a male chauvinist, and stop being biased toward men in general, and don’t set the Masculinity as against Femininity in general; I would be more than happy to convey a message of congratulations for Women’s day. We need to change the discourse, please! (of all Iranian men vs. all Ir. women)
…And BTW, if I became dragged to this discussion (that I am prone to), I would miss my wife’s request who asks me to stop surfing the internet for tonight; to go out with her, and then I would break her heart in a day that supposed to be her day! So for now good by and again happy Women’s day to all…
Men should remember one thing
by Mehran (not verified) on Sat Mar 08, 2008 05:34 PM PSTThat the women are the folks who raise the next generation of men and women. Treat women with respect and dignity so as the society grows to be a better one in the future. Women are the pillar of the society and they are the one who educate the children. They are the teachers of mankind.
Thank you Mr Javid

Happy Women's Day
by kbt (not verified) on Sat Mar 08, 2008 05:05 PM PSTNow is a noteworthy clip. Thank you for posting it.
It is sickening and shameful to see what happens in this world in this day and age. It all goes back to illiteracy. These men are worse than savage animals. Something must be done to bring justice to these countries.

by A Man (not verified) on Sat Mar 08, 2008 03:22 PM PSTPlease don't consider the absence of male voice within a short period of time a sign that we men do not care about the equality of women in this world. I can assure you that I, as a man, am disgusted by the atrocities being committed in this world by men who do not care about women's rights. I too yearn for the day that women in the world will stand equal amongst men. Thank you JJ for sharing this, too.
PS: ditto what "I am a Man" said.

by Anonymous123 (not verified) on Sat Mar 08, 2008 12:06 PM PSTI wish more men would come and comment here. It is funny how some subjects will go un-noticed, while oil, gold, money, university, insults to this and that, etc... takes the center stage.
Happy Women's Day :)
