Preparing for March 14 Majles elections

(REUTERS) -- Iranian politicians campaign ahead of March 14 Parliamentary election. Iran's parliament does not draw up policy on major issues such as Iran's nuclear row with the West, but analysts say the result will indicate President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's chance of re-election in 2009.

Selection in lieu of Election

by Dada (not verified) on

One must not call this Election since it is really selection amongst the Khodiha. Further, this is just a bad joke against Iranian nation. Selection in Akhondi style means; har chee rahbar begeh, Which in turn defeat the purpose of election. Well, why even bother.
