Iranians are extremists

... even in drinking alcohol, says Sheikh Daneshmand

Iranians drink alcohol like a fish, going to the extreme in copying Europeans. Let's be like Europeans, he says. Let's be polite, let's get good grades, let's practice moderation.

So funny!

by Niloufar Parsi on

Boy that was hilarious! Never hear a mullah rant about araq khori & mashq neveshtan at the same time before. Thanks for posting.

Actually, the Brits, Eastern Europeans and the Finns drink like crazy, especially the students!

and where was the salavat?! :)

Mr Daneshmand analysis

by Viva Iran (not verified) on

Guys, Iranian have drinking problem because nobody has taught them how to drink. It's not part of their life as Europeans so when it comes to alcohol they want to take as much as they can. The root cause is not people and it people religion and government. This Akhoond doesn't understand that he cannot compare apple with orange. European society enjoys so many freedoms that Iranians haven't had that. You cannot expect Iranian to be polite as European, hard work as European while they cannot dress what they want(very basic right)

Please believe me, there is no good Akhoond in the world. Good Akhoond is just science fiction.

Iranians and Drinking.

by Anonypishi (not verified) on

When it comes to drinking Iranians really go overboard. I have seen it before revolution and after revolution.
Arbadeh keshi shoghle sharifeshooneh. And when you don't want to drink they keep insisting and insisting till it gets quite uncomfortable to be around them.

there will never be a smell of war

According to a new NYT article:

Bush Administration will not attack Iran with only "7" months left in office.

thank almighty ALLAH!

He makes a lot of valid points

by Ali Reza Sa'atchi (not verified) on

It is true that a lot of Iranians are not doing the right thing. Iranians should not become alcoholics. Eating swine increases cholesterol. I agree with everything he has said. There will never be a military strike against Iran. Such a strike will bring the middle east into a regional war. And no one could afford that. What will Gasoline in America be then? $500 a gallon?

The smell of war is getting stronger

Having watched two more of his clips,
I reckon, this guy is planning further than candidacy. He is buying himself an amnesty insurance in case of regime change which on the other hand forecasts the inevitable war occurrence.

Have you heard Russians warning on attacking Iran (BBC, Yesterday)? It is really getting scary. Watch this:

.
.
Smart campaigning for the eventual future candidacy.
Since khatami, the Iran's majority that outnumbers the pro-regime minority are targeted by such buttered open mindedness.
This guy is a; life-in-the-fast-lane character and despite being in manbar internship phase, is thinking ahead and building up himself a popular reputation.

Now lets change the lens angle;
They know exactly the majority's weakness and tactically they finger it for both, suppression and campaigning.

Note:
To overcome any jumping conclusions; I do know that legalizing alcohol consumption is not the Iranians' definitions of freedom and is indeed the least of their problems. Butt, since a decade they regularly fall for such stupid traps during the election.

He is right here

by Hakim (not verified) on

I have seen many of his video clips. He is right in many things that he talks about. His style of being funny and being a mullahs is also refreshing. Saying this, does not mean that I agree with him to dress like Arabs and promote Arabic culture to the Iranian Nation.

Narahat nasho

by Anonymous Mosalman (not verified) on

Yes Mr. Daneshmand has again angered the usual opposition who hate islam and moslems.

Iran is more advanced now that it has been in all it's history and most important of all, it is not a pupet regime.

mahmoudg jan, boro aragheto bokhor va narahat nasho.

by mahmoudg on

Some one tell this bozghaleh that our problems stem from 1400 of this type of ranting and raving, that got us farther and farther behind from the Europeans.  Had we not followed his arab masters we would not be in the sham were are today.
