Dancing is Fine But The Oldman Needs a Better Life

by ShamshirH (not verified) on

It's fine to dance in public and enjoy yourself but our government should start a national healthcare and social-security system from Tax-money to take care of our elderly over 60-65.
Government taking care of elderly is NOT a social welfare since the same taxpayers have financed the cost by paying for taxes.
Because of centuries of kingdom and the whole country's assets going into the King's treasury, we've never felt responsiblity and the sense of duty to take care of our country and specially our elderly.
Iranians have this wrong belief that any payments made by government is out of pity and therefore a proud Iranian should not accept them but that's wrong because Government-assistance is nothing but an insurance system paid for by the citizens and country's assets and resources.

REPLY : STRRET- and CLASSROOM DANCES and some COMMENTS

by Faribors Maleknasri M.D. (not verified) on

1. first of all i appology myself because of my terrible englich. If you are seeking a shakespear english so I think better you stop continuing to read.
However I do not know if the mentioned english is the best today.
2. I think the dancing Gentlman has a very originate Idea. Dancing and sammpling Money in the public. I think having originate Ideas is the most typical iranian way of solving problems. Like thier founding thier ISLAMIC REPUBLIC of IRAN, Living there and being willing to protect what they have achieved during the last 30 years.
3. I also watched the Video with dancing school girls in thier class room. very nice dancing. So I have heard when iranian or oriental females are undisturbed so they behave exuberant, boisterous, some times wild but with high sprit. they dance, make jokes and the atmospher is pure. the western girls behave different. They struggle allways to find a reason to criticise. may be it is up to thier western mentality and "education". Just like some visitores of "IRANIAN". Although, as every body knowes or at least has to know that in "IRANIAN" nothing is sacred, despite this general condition I read allways how personally some critics are. Up to my opinion is "IRANIAN" a Place where poeple can have fun or for example discuss MATTERS, but not PERSONS.
4. The dancing gentlemann is - so I think - NOT a DALGHAK. He is an ARTIST. he is brave, couraged, heart taking, plucked, and: He boosts other poeple`s courage. I think it is up to every single person her/himself how should be mind be made. If one does not like Iranians or the poeple from Orinet or even any other human being so looks the dancing szene reprehensible.
5. The dancing gentleman is a human being with all God given human Rights and he is just practicing these rights. He just applies his Iranian/oriental nature being happy and making his Co-beings also happy. he is, or may be he is too old to work. But never too old to dance. I am happy for him that he knowes this fact and arranges his daily life up to this fact.
6. The dancing gentleman is Great. But please understand me right. I do not mean in the same way as devils and satans were great sometimes in the past. They lay all in thier death bed since long.
7. I do not see - may be to my own disability - why the dancing gentleman should be POOR? He has chosen his pants concious and calculated. Which means He has planed his performance. He must have studied his choreography constructed by himself.
8. For me it is a real pleasure having the possibility to watch this and other videos. again a Reason for me to say: HOW GOOD THAT WE HAVE THE "IRANIAN". Greeting

Still Feel Sad

by Roya (not verified) on

I still feel sad because I see the reasons behind this dancing. I see the root causes of this dancing that have affected not only this man, but most Iranians in different ways. Either inside or outside of Iran.

Couldn't agree with you more

by ZZTop (not verified) on

Couldn't agree with you more PROUD. Most (in his shoes) here in the US would pick up a gun and knock off a 7-11 store or a gas station.

Poverty or from the heart?

by ny (not verified) on

It's of lttle importance what "we" think!
What is important is how "he" feels and why he is dancing!

Very proud

by PROUD (not verified) on

I am very proud of this dude, I don't feel sad at all. while a large portion of people in Western countries rely on social welfare when they can't locate their ideals jobs, our friend right here has taken the matters into his own hands, not by begging people or stealing, by dancing for them. He is very good at it too for a guy that old. He is pretty happy, so are the people around him. WIN WIN situation.
some of you think he is a dalghak or is forced to dance, but I think he enjoys it, he is an entertainer, a showman with a passion to dance.
Ever thought of that?
Dance buddy... DANCE !

His pants

by B-Naam on

It looks like Iran.  His pants look like the ones that municipal street workers wear, many of whom are really old men (although not this old).

This is 99% Iran

by Arghavan (not verified) on

This is 99% Iran if not 100%. This is not uncommon there. The old guy is so desperate to make money and this is all he can do!

This is definitely Iran. May be not Tehran!

by farrad02 on

This is definitely Iran. But may be not Tehran! Although even in Tehran, if you go deep in to the fringe neighborhoods you see people with Baluchi and Kurdish clothing all the time (I mean, get away from northern Tehran!) I have seen this on YouTube before. It has several other video clips along with it that clearly show cars and other things that make it clear it is Iran.
